Help us cover New York AI

Submit a company, an event, or a tip

We read job boards, filings, and announcements, and we still miss things. If you know a New York AI company we do not list, an event that belongs on the calendar, or news we should check, tell us. It is free, it cannot be paid for, and a person reads every one.

What to send

A company

An AI company headquartered in the New York area that is missing from the NYC AI 100, the startups list, or the jobs board. A link to its job board helps most: if it posts through Greenhouse, Ashby, or Lever, we can start reading its open roles.

An event

A meetup, speaker series, conference, or dinner for the AI events calendar. Recurring events with a track record are the most useful. One-off vendor webinars are not what the calendar is for.

A tip

A funding round, an acquisition, a senior hire or departure, a new New York office, an error in our data, or something you think we should be measuring. Tips can be anonymous. For an error, the corrections page explains what happens next.

What are you sending us?

We use your email only to follow up on this submission. It is not added to the newsletter or any other list.

What happens to a submission

A submission is a lead, not a fact. We check every one against a primary source before anything changes on the site: a company’s own filings and announcements, an event’s own page, the document behind a tip. What we cannot confirm, we do not publish.

Companies are judged against the criteria on our methodology page, and the answer is the same whoever sent the submission. The rules that keep our business away from our coverage are in our editorial standards and disclosures.

Questions

Does submitting a company get it listed?

No. A submission tells us where to look. A company is added only if it meets the published criteria: an AI company headquartered in the New York area, with a size figure we can source for the NYC AI 100. We verify the headquarters and the figures ourselves, and the NYC AI 100 is revised once a year, so a company that qualifies may wait for the next edition.

Can we pay to be included or featured?

No. Nothing on this site can be bought: not inclusion, not position, not a description. Being a client of our network makes no difference either. How we keep that line is set out in our disclosures.

What do you do with my email address?

We use it to reply about your submission, and for nothing else. It is not added to the newsletter or to any other list. Tips do not need an email at all.

Will you publish my tip?

Only after we have confirmed it with a source we can cite, and we credit tipsters only if they ask us to. A tip we cannot verify stays unpublished. We do not publish rumors about individuals.
