Executive searches, from the job boards
Open roles with a C-level, president, general manager, VP, or “head of” title at the New York AI companies we track. A leadership search says more about where a company is headed than a press release does: a first head of legal, a chief marketing officer, a VP of sales in a new region. We began recording titles on August 15, 2026, so a role shown as open since that date may be older.

None recorded yet. We began keeping titles for senior roles on September 20, 2026, so this list fills in from there. A posting coming down means filled, cancelled, or reposted; it does not say who was hired.

How this is compiled
Deals and moves are curated. An entry needs a source we have opened: the company’s announcement, a regulatory filing, or first-hand reporting. Amounts and names are given as the source gives them, and a valuation appears only if the source states it. We add entries weekly and do not remove old ones.
Searches are automated. They come from the same daily reading of company job boards as the Hiring Index, filtered to executive titles. They cover only companies that post through Greenhouse, Ashby, or Lever, and only roles that are posted publicly; many executive searches never are.
Roles, not people. We report that a search opened or came down. We do not infer who was hired, and we do not track individuals. Leadership moves appear only when the company or a major outlet announced them.
The full rules are in our methodology, and the founders’ interests in this market are set out in our disclosures. Found an error? Tell us.
Questions
What does the tracker cover?
Two things. A curated record of funding rounds, acquisitions, public-market events, and publicly announced leadership moves at AI companies headquartered in the New York area, each linked to a source we have read. And an automated view of the executive searches open on those companies’ job boards today, refreshed daily from the same data as our Hiring Index.
Does a job posting coming down mean someone was hired?
No. A posting disappears when a role is filled, cancelled, or reposted under a new link, and we cannot tell those apart. The tracker reports that a search opened or came down and how long it ran. It never says who was hired, and we do not infer moves from job boards or from anyone’s profile.
How do you decide what to include?
The company must be an AI company headquartered in the New York area, and the event must be confirmed by a source we can link to: the company’s own announcement, a regulatory filing, or first-hand reporting from a major outlet. Leadership moves are included only when they were publicly announced. We do not publish rumors.
Do Neuronify’s founders have interests in these companies?
They may. Both founders invest in early-stage companies. Where either holds a financial interest in a company named in an entry, the entry carries a disclosure. Inclusion in the tracker is governed by the rule above and is not affected by any holding. The details are on our disclosures page.
How do I tell you about a deal or a move?
Use the submit page and choose “a tip.” Include a link to the announcement if there is one. Tips can be anonymous, and we publish only what we can confirm with a source.
